Jazz Vocalist and Host at JAZZ.FM91

Vocalist, actor, broadcaster, and educator, Heather Bambrick has worked with a vast array of artists including Phil Nimmons, Fred Hirsch, Guido Basso, Anne Hampton Callaway, Jackie Richardson, Rob McConnell, and Peter Appleyard. Her recordings have garnered award nominations, as well as international airplay and praise. She’s been awarded both “Vocalist of the Year” and “Broadcaster of the Year” at the Canadian National Jazz Awards.

Besides being one of Canada’s finest Jazz vocalists, Heather works regularly as a voice actor for commercials as well as in animation series for PBS, NBC, Disney, Jim Henson Company, and others. She is also the host of two weekly programs on JAZZ.FM91 – Canada’s only all-Jazz radio. Heather is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of  Music Jazz Studies program and has taught at both U of T and Humber College, as well as at conferences and festivals across Canada.
