Andreas Boecker
Associate Professor, Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics (FARE), University of Guelph
After obtaining his MSc and PhD at Kiel University in Germany, Andreas worked as an associate consultant and post-doc in the UK, and as a research associate at the University of Giessen, Germany. In September 2005, Andreas joined the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics (FARE) at the University of Guelph. Andreas’ research focuses on the economic analysis of food traceability, consumer perceptions of and communication about agricultural technologies and practices, particularly agricultural biotechnology. Andreas is currently the Undergraduate Coordinator of FARE.
